We’re a pair of independent video producers who like helping small businesses create high concept, high energy videos to quickly explain who they are, what they do, and why people should care.
We work closely with you throughout the process to make sure you’re digging what we’re doing every step of the way.
We’ll brainstorm and pitch you a few high level concepts for what we think would give you the best video for your buck. This might involve some visuals, sample scripting, or just a quick breakdown if we feel like the idea speaks for itself!
Once you’ve approved the video concept, we’ll move on to scripting. You’ll receive a full script document to provide feedback on before we lock the document to prepare for shooting.
With the script in place, we can start assembling a full storyboard for the video that will walk you through, shot by shot, what the final video will look like. Mind you, these might be pretty simple sketches or thumbnails, but they’ll give you an idea of the energy and tone of the final product!
With your final sign-off on storyboards and script, we’ll go off to plan and execute the shoot. We’ll ask you to approve any onscreen or VO talent used prior to production. This phase includes both shooting and editing, after which we’ll give you–
The full video, with music, sound effects, and graphics in place! This is your chance to review the first cut of the video and offer your feedback on what you love or what you might want to see tweaked. We’ll take that feedback and roll it into the–
This is a version 2 of the video, with your notes (and our own tweaks) incorporated. You’ll get another chance to offer final feedback, before we provide you with–
Your shiny new video, delivered in the final agreed-upon file format and ready for you to upload!
Although there are a variety of factors that affect the timeline of production (feedback turnaround time, complexity of the edit, etc.), a typical project usually takes about 4 – 8 weeks from beginning to end.
Although we focus our efforts on live action videos, our definition of “live action” can mean a lot of different things. We’ve made more traditional talking head or testimonial videos…but we’ve also made videos using papercraft, green screen effects, and puppets! We try to think of the best way to deliver your message as efficiently and entertainingly as possible to your audience.
The exact cost of a video depends on a lot of different things, but we pride ourselves on being able to work within budgets big or small. We’ll ask you a few things about what you’re looking for, where the video will be used, and how much you have to work with…and we’ll offer you a breakdown of what we think that would cost and why.
We ask clients to pay 50% of the project budget upfront and 50% upon completion. However, these terms are flexible in certain situations.
